It was so easy, too! Basically, it was like a strawberry cheesecake sort of.. They took 2 cartons of strawberries, cut the tops off, then hollowed them out. They put the cheesecake filling on the inside! It was so light, and refreshing! I’m not sure how many calories are in them, but I know it can’t be that bad if you only have 3 or 4.
For the filling:
- 1 block of cream cheese (I think if I make them, I’m gonna use the 1/3 less fat kind)
- 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 1/2 t vanilla
She blended these together and filled the strawberries with it. then took about 3 sheets of graham crackers and crunched them up. she covered the tops of the strawberries with the graham cracker crumbs.
Ok, I’m not that big of a cheesecake person, but these were so good! I had like, 6. I actually had to walk away from the table so I would stop eating them! Delish.
Seriously! Friday, I started my day off right, but splurged on pizza because nothing else sounded okay. Saturday, I ate a pb/banana sandwich on a pita (that’s it), but got an early dinner/late lunch with my sister at a Mexican restaurant. Today, I left myself 900 calories or so for dinner, but was so hungry that I splurged and ate a LOT more than I wanted to. My dad did a cook out tonight. All I have to say is.. I avoided alcohol, which I guess is a positive thing from today. Anyways, point is… I’m definitely thinking I gained weight, but I want to get back on track. So tomorrow is a new day. I’m gonna make it a healthy one.

It was one of those nights where my parents left money home for us so we could go out to eat if we wanted to. My sister was going out with her friends and going to a sleepover. My brother was going to the movies with one of his friends, then to Bdubs after. So that leaves me at home. I could’ve made something, but nothing looked good. I thought about going to Subway again, but I’ve been there more times than I can count on both hands in the past month, since I’ve been home. So that didn’t sound good either. I thought about grabbing something at Taco Bell, but wasn’t sure about that, so decided on ordering a pizza—medium pepperoni. I had 3 slices, felt so full I almost felt sick :/. A few hours later and I’m snacking on chocolate. I had probably 5 of those little chocolate eggs. I feel not very good right now. I ate horribly the past 4 hours… what a crappy cheat day! It wasn’t even that good, nothing was good, but I ate like crap anyway! Ughh. So I guess that’s that for this week. Until next week. My next cheat day is gonna be so much more worth it. Ugh.
My brother went out to the movies, so just my sister is going to Chinese with friends for dinner. I’m off the hook! But now.. what to do for dinner… hm..
My brother and sister are going with their friends and that’s my option right now unless I can come up with something to make for myself at home! Ideas would be great.
She has a gorgeous/ super fit body. Amazing. I envy it for sure.
Anyways, went to the gym and did back/bis with a LITTLE abs, then walked for 40 minutes on the highest incline with a speed of 3.3-4.0 (I increased it as time went on!). I have work tomorrow from 7am-7:30 pm, meaning I won’t be back until around 8:30pm, so no gym time! Thought I’d get some workouts in today :)
Haha, I KNEW the last time I weighed myself, I weighed so much because of water. But I didn’t think that water weight would be as much as 4.5 pounds! But, my brother is trying to talk me into getting lunch with him (over making something healthy at home.) I didn’t think I’d have lost that much weight (I was 139.something on Monday). So I told him, ‘If I’m over 136, I’m not going.’ I weighed myself expecting at LEAST 136.. Well? 134.4 lbs!! How? I have no idea. I haven’t worked out since like, Saturday because of my job and church related things. All I can think of is that I’ve been eating pretty good while I’m at work.
I work at a hospital, doing 12.5 hour long shifts. Basically, they give us a lunch break. But I eat breakfast at like, 5 (usually something with a decent amt of protein and around 200 cals), then lunch is anywhere from 12-2 pm. I’ll pack a sandwich with fruit and carrots or something, making it about 300 cals or less. I do this because by the end of the day, I’m STARVING, so I like to eat my 700 or more calories after work, so I can eat more! Haha. So that COULD have helped, plus, I’m always busy, walking, lifting, moving, etc. Patient care is hard work! But yeah, just thought I’d fill you guys in
