Today was a good day calorie-wise, but not so hot on the food choices. I ended up eating a total of around 1300 calories, ( I might eat something small later..) and I ran a mile today. BUT I started my day gorging myself on chips. Bad bad bad. Even after a bad weekend.. I lost another pound!
I’m down to 136.6. That’s what hard work does, guys. I know my page says I’m 135 or something, I haven’t updated it, but I think I’m gonna wait a few weeks to see if I can hold true what I wrote my weight as on my about me or whatever. But how are you guys doing?! Keep up the good work guys, you are a big part of my motivation. :)
Also.. I kinda screwed up this weekend.
I went home and had a cheat day, got pizza with my mom for lunch and for dinner, we ate a home cooked meal, but I overdid it with mashed potatoes. Then the next day I had every intention of doing good, but ate pizza with friends for lunch, mcdonalds for dinner, then drank a mikes hard and a few glasses of wine. Oops. But today I’m back on track, gonna be healthy this week and weigh in...

I ran 3.2 miles today at a time of 28:25. I couldn’t believe it! Not only did I get further (I’ve been getting back into running since school started.. I went through a period of working and not exercising as much), I dropped my pace by 30 seconds. Sheesh! I’d love to be at an 8 minute pace running 5 miles, but that’s a goal for the future. I met my parents for dinner downtown at this AMAZING restaurant. I did a bad thing (or good?) and looked up the calories to everything. I didn’t want tonight to be my cheat day so I ordered a side salad and soup. Day = Success. I’ve been under my calories all week and worked out 2x. If I don’t blow it this weekend, I’m super excited to weigh in Monday. :)

So today was the first day back to school. I started 6th semester. We had to get up and be at school 2 hours early to take a math test, then had lecture from 10-2:20. My class was pediatrics/OB and it was split up like this: Peds was 10-11:50, then OB from 1230-220 with a lunch break in between. That means that even after a completely crappy weekend and not working out much the past week, I still lost almost a pound.. I’ll take it. But you better believe this week is gonna be much more intense. Body, be ready for it.

I eat better on days I work out.
I just feel like working out makes me want to eat better. It really puts me in a healthy mindset when I do.
Roomie and I ran 1.5 miles today.
Not incredible, and I probably could’ve kept going, but she needed to stop. But it felt great though and I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s run! :)
