2009: 360 Pounds
2012: 200 Pounds
We were in the same area as my before photo that was taken in June 2009 so I decided to try and take a similar picture today to compare.
Wonderful! Amazing example for his kids. Even though i’m sure his kids are healthy due to his life style. It sickens me to see parents come in that are overweight/obese and buy white bread, pop and chips and chocolate covered granolas bars and awful snacks for their kids. The kids have no say in what they eat, it is sad really.
I can finally say those words and believe them! I’m running at 4 miles a day, which may not seem like a lot, but I am actually enjoying it when I do run. I’m to that point! I’ve craved to be there for a really long time. To feel like my day is not complete without a run. Loving how it feels when I run and loving the challenge of doing it. And I love the feeling I get when I’m done. And I love the shape my legs are getting in, the changes I’m seeing. I get excited to see how far I can go one day or how fast. And now I’m doing 2 5ks in September.. I’ve never done one before and I am finally confident enough with my running to do them! I’m excited to see what else my running has in store for me.
I’ll take it! Especially after a week of no running and eating not so great… :/ Maybe it’s my body telling me I have lots of extra calories to burn, but I haven’t run this far since high school! 6 miles… :)
