I mean.. I have to wake up at 6 and it’s a LONG day. Tomorrow is only a 4 hour clinical, so not too bad, but still.. it’s SO hard for me to get to bed before 11 or 12, because that’s when I go to bed the rest of the week! Ugh. Anyway.. Today my calories equaled 1345. Not TOO terrible, but I had it all planned out (I plan my calories ahead of time usually on myfitnesspal-if it’s in writing, it’s easier to stick to it!) and after lunch, I put in a 300-something calorie dinner, plus two snacks. I was about to eat my mandarin orange to finish out my calories for the day, when my blood sugar went low (I hate diabetes =( ). I knew I’d be going to bed soon, so I didn’t want my blood sugar to drop over night (I’d have to eat more). So I ate 2 glucose tabs plus low calorie bread and pb to keep my blood sugar up. I know 1345 isn’t bad, but it KILLS me that I coulda ended on exactly 1200 and instead I had to eat more. I would post, but I really don’t feel like typing it all out. But I exercised a hella ton, so I feel like the 145 calories extra is no big thing. Tomorrow after clinical I plan on eating lunch then going for a run. Depending on how far I get (gonna try to work on endurance.. might be a fail!) is the lifting workout I’ll do. But I’ll keep you updated! :)
